How to properly remove makeup?

Admit it! How many times you’ve gone to bed with an uncleaned makeup because you’ve been too lazy to take a few extra minutes for this important step in the evening routine? Or you just washed your face superficially with the idea that in the morning you will be more precise? In both cases you are harming your skin – if not immediately, then after a while. It is important not only to remove your makeup, but also to do it correctly.
First, for a precise makeup removal you need two basic “tools”: an appropriate cleanser and cotton wads.
It is especially important to choose cleaning products consistent with your skin type. No matter how convenient wet wipes are, they are not the most appropriate when it comes to cleaning your face.
• For normal, dry or combination skin, use cleansing milk. Usually, it has mild texture and universal formula, enriched with moisturizing ingredients with refreshing effect.
• For oily, sensitive or problematic skin trust specialized lotions. Enriched with sebo-regulating and anti-bacterial active ingredients, they maintain the pH balance, tighten the pores, prevent inflammation, pimples, black spots, soothe irritations and create a feeling of a lasting purity and freshness.
Moisten two wads and place them on your eyelashes for 2-3 minutes. This will facilitate the decomposition of the large amount of pigment (mascara, eyeliner, pencil). Then remove the residues with new pads (we remind you that the skin around the eyes is delicate and aggressive rubbing can harm it).
The best way to remove foundation from your face is using a steam bath. It will help product’s decomposition and will open the pores. If you don’t have time, a cleaner will do the job. Just gently wipe your skin with few pads.
Wash your face after you’ve removed your makeup completely. It would be best to use a special cleanser – an universal or a specialized formula whose soft foamers clean gently, but do not dry the skin as water does. Very likely, after this step in the corners of your eyes residues of mascara or pencil may appear. Wipe them out carefully with a cotton bud or a pad.
To keep moisture in the pores, stimulate their contraction with a final rinse with cold water. After that, it is recommended to neutralize drying and chlorine with face tonic, for supplementary nourishment, regeneration and softening of the skin.
Wait a minute for the ingredients to penetrate into the skin and before your face dries out completely apply a moisturizing product – a cream or a serum.
Attention! Spending a lot of time wearing makeup or its heavy layering harm your skin. Therefore observe the cleaning ritual properly and daily.
